    Siu graduated from The University of Melbourne and worked in several well established private clinics before founding her own clinic at Bouverie Dental. With her fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Siu takes pride in providing pleasant, stress-free experience to everyone coming to Bouverie Dental. Being a registered Invisalign provider, and a graduate

    from Progressive Orthodontics Seminars (2-year continued education), Siu is capable of offering complete comprehensive solutions to achieve the ideal smiles that people dream of.

    Outside of work, Siu enjoys karaoke, skiing, travelling and spending time with her family, especially her toddler is keeping her on her toes.

  • Dr Mathew Soon

    Mathew graduated from The University of Melbourne and has since worked at both public and private dental clinics. Keen on providing treatment in all areas of dentistry he pursued additional training and is proficient in providing care in a wide range of disciplines including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, wisdom tooth removal, fixed braces and Invisalign.

    Mathew is dedicated to providing high quality dental care for his patients, working on creating personalized treatment plans based on their individual desired outcomes.  He integrates his clinical work with helping patients understand the fundamentals of oral health and how to maintain a disease-free mouth. Mathew finds dentistry rewarding due to his ability to help people smile and EAT.

    Outside of dentistry, he enjoys computer games, board/card games, soccer and snowboarding, hitting the slopes in countries such as New Zealand, Canada and Japan. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

  • Dr Christina Shue

    Christina graduated from the University of Melbourne. She worked for a private practice in Bendigo for 3 years before moving back to the city and has been working in Bouverie Dental ever since. Christina enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and is always available for a chat. She finds it most rewarding when a previously fearful patient

    overcomes their fear of the dentist and finishes their treatment with a beautiful smile.She has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnoea as well as straightening teeth, whether it be with conventional braces, Invisalign or the Inman Aligner.

    Christina spends the rest of her time with her baby boy, husband and cat. She enjoys doing yoga and watching movies.

  • Dr Wah Lay Tan

    Wah Lay graduated as the top student of her dental cohort from The University of Melbourne. After gaining valuable work experience in Melbourne, she received a scholarship to complete the Master of Dental Surgery (Implant Dentistry) program at The University of Hong Kong, where she graduated with Distinction. Later, she served as Clinical Assistant

    Professor in Implant Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong before she returned to private practice in Melbourne. Outside of private practice, Wah Lay also undertakes clinical teaching duties at the Melbourne Dental School, The University of Melbourne. Detail-oriented and possessing an unhurried demeanour, Wah Lay puts patients at ease and is punctilious in the provision of dental care. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but owing to her formal training, has particular interest in gum disease, implant dentistry and microsurgery.

    Besides being a self-confessed travel addict, Wah Lay also enjoys running, swimming, scuba diving, reading, theatre, and all genres of music. A recent renewed interest in the mechanics of horology has also provided much entertainment.

    As a Graduate of the Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne, Patrick enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, yet he is truly passionate about looking after patient’s comfort and best interests.
